Vintage Porcelain China Cup Saucer Set Colditz for Bestemor

This lovely porcelain cup and saucer set is stamped CP in a circle and below that ‘Colditz‘ and ‘Made in GDR‘ for German Democratic Republic. ‘Bestemor‘ (Norwegian for Grandmother) is in gold script on the side of the 3 5/8" high, 3" in diameter at the mouth, 1 1/2" in diameter at the foot cup. On either side of ‘Bestemor‘ are transfer prints of leaves and on the opposite side is a transfer print of a single orange flower on a twig and surrounded by leaves. The saucer is 5 1/8" in diameter and it echos the transfer print leaves in the design. It also sports the same markings on the back as the cup plus the number 49. This vintage set is in Very Good Plus condition, with no cracks, chips, bites, or crazing.
